For the Burgundy Lovers. With years of experience in the wine industry, Ken Pahlow and Erica Landon decided to invest their retirement savings into a winery. We love good people, and these two are just that. They believe in collaboration, valuing relationships with others who share their commitment to pushing boundaries and caring for every detail in the vineyard. The name Walter Scott honors Ken’s grandfather, Walter, and his nephew, Scott, who shaped his outlook on life.

Ken’s expertise is in the cellar, while Erica’s is in dining rooms. Together, their shared passion for wine led them to create their own project, and they’re making world-class wines. Not only are they some of the best in the Willamette Valley, but arguably some of the best in the country. When we first tasted these wines, we knew we were hooked—obsessed, even. With their limited production, don’t hold onto them too long, but when you do open a bottle, make sure it’s with great company.
